Han Lee, age 41, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, James Lee, age 68, of Torrance, California, and Junmyung Lee, age 30, of Dedham, Massachusetts, were all charged with running the operation that serviced elected officials, high-tech and pharmaceutical executives, doctors, military officers, government contractors, professors, attorneys, scientists, and accountants, among others, US Attorney for Massachusetts said.
Authorities did not name any clients or say if they had found any "little black books" with that information.
Federal investigators said the trio coerced several women — mostly Asian — into flying to Massachusetts and Fairfax and Tysons, Virginia, to have sex for money, starting as early as 2020. They rented several high-end apartments for appointments with clients and where the prostitutes could stay afterward.
They advertised their services on Bostontopten10.com and browneyesgirlsva.blog. The women provided their height, weight, and bust size in the ads. The sites would include tags such as "'open" and "coming soon" for each prostitute, the prosecutor said.
Prospective clients would have to provide their employer information, email address, and phone number and have references with the brothel to use its services, federal authorities added. Customers would receive a menu of options of what services were available. Prices ranged from $350 to $600 an hour.
The three alleged organizers face up to 20 years in jail if convicted of conspiracy to coerce and entice to travel to engage in illegal sexual activity, according to sentencing guidelines.
